Welcome to the 'Your Solicitor' helpline

As Cleardocs customers know, when they buy a legal employment document from us, Ashfords LLP Solicitors provide initial free legal support about the document itself.  This service - at the point of sale - is one-off, time limited and free of charge.

A number of our customers have asked for on-going legal employment support in the form of a helpline scheme. They have requested legal support during normal working hours to help them handle specific matters relating to their employees such as - but not limited to - discipline, grievance and redundancy issues.

Working in conjunction with Ashfords LLP Solicitors, we are delighted to be able to introduce ‘Your Solicitor', an on-going legal employment helpline for our customers.

Unlike many other helplines, Ashfords assign a named, fully qualified and experienced employment specialist to each member of the Your Solicitor helpline scheme. This ensures continuity, and allows for the development of a mutually beneficial relationship.

Interested in joining 'Your Solicitor'? Contact Frances@Cleardocs.co.uk or call 0845 474 0376.

Once you join the Your Solicitor helpline:

• You will deal with a dedicated qualified employment expert with significant commercial experience and awareness

• Instead of dialling into a call-centre, as a member of the Your Solicitor helpline, you call your named solicitor at their desk in Ashfords' offices.

Why join an on-going employment helpline?

The fast pace of change in employment law, and the growing emphasis on employers following proper procedures, makes good quality, commercially-aware employment law advice increasingly valuable. Many of the employers who fall foul of employment law do so unwittingly. Unfortunately that is small comfort if you find yourself in an expensive and time-consuming Employment Tribunal claim.

Membership of ‘Your Solicitor', the employment helpline from Ashfords LLP Solicitors, can help you manage the risk of employment issues for a single, cost-effective annual fee.

Charles Pallot, partner and Head of the Ashfords LLP employment team, adds that his team likes to work with clients as soon as an employment problem arises, as dealing with matters as they arise can save the client significant costs and management time in the long run.  He says:  "The 'Your Solicitor' helpline encourages members to pick up the 'phone if they have any employment law worries, with the security of knowing that the cost of that call is covered in their annual membership fee."

3. Each customer of the 'Your Solicitor' helpline service will have a dedicated primary Ashfords lawyer, but you would appreciate that that person might not always be available, in which case you would be looked after by their colleague.
